How To Purchase The Book

The Hippie DictionaryThe reason for writing this book is much more esoteric than just a mid-life crisis for ten million aging hippies. I do not want to go back and live again in the '60s; I want to start over where that era left off. This book was written because I believe that the hippie era was cut short, and today, of all times, we need to go back and restart the path on which the world was headed during the 1960s and '70s.

The hippie era and its ideals frightened military/industrial leaders because it threatened their stranglehold on the people. For a time it looked like people had reclaimed their lives, but then the conservative media mounted a campaign to trash the hippie movement and obscure its positive counterculture ideals. And then Reagan was elected.

Sure, there is nostalgia in The Hippie Dictionary, yet there is also history to help us keep from repeating our mistakes. But most importantly, in this book you will find inspiration from the people and events it describes. The spiritual truth and positive morality of the hippie era must be reborn if mankind is to reach the status of perfection that is its birthright. Humankind is smarter than this; we have been poor stewards; we are capable of making a better world than the one we have produced.
